Stephanie Bongiovi, Bon Jovi's Daughter, Avoids Prosecution After Overdosing On Heroin

Here is an update on Jon Bon Jovi's daughter Stephanie Bongiovi. She will reportedly not face criminal prosecution for use of heroin after she was charged for drug use.

On November 14, 2012 Stephanie overdosed in her Hamilton College dorm room. Stephanie, 19, was a male student who was 21 when she started to OD.

TMZ said that Oneida County D.A. office is dismissing criminal charges because there is a New York law that prohibits the prosecution of people experiencing a drug overdose. It also prohibits the prosecution of those helping them seek medical care.

Stephanie was arrested after getting emergency medical treatment for the overdose. A drug task force went to her college room and found drug paraphernalia, pot, and a small quantity of heroin.

The facts don't line up here. Why would they arrest her if they knew there was a law that said they couldn't charge her anything drug related because she overdosed? I'll tell you why, because someone important at Oneida County D.A. is a fan of Bon Jovi. I'd bet all the money in Bon Jovi's savings account that was the case. I'm sure 999,999 out of 1,000,000 that a person would be charged for this in New York.
